Rebuild of Ostkreuz train station - bridge section South curve

To the West of the intersection Ostkreuz, the suburban railway tracks of route 6007 cross the tracks of the city train, the partial precautionary measure for the federal motorway A100 and the Markgrafendamm, and therefore connect the routes of the city and circular railway.

The flat overpass of the suburban railway tracks on route 6007 will be realised with two single-track, multi-span bridge sections in a composite steel structure. The Southern bridge section is divided into a six-span foreshore bridge made of a reinforced concrete frame, and a box girder bridge in composite steel structure. The Northern bridge section reaches across four-span box girders in composite steel structure, on pier walls with deep foundations to be built in places. The support spans are 36 - 52 m.
