Rebuild Berlin Ostkreuz

The Ostkreuz train station is of tremendous importance for the entire local transport in Berlin, as a transfer station between the suburban railway routes and the circular railway.

In the scope of the railway concept in Berlin (mushroom concept), Ostkreuz will play an important role in future, as an interchange between important railway routes (suburban railway and long distance train).

In addition, the complex renewal of the existing infrastructure is required.

On the circular railway level, the new build of platform “F” is taking place with a station hall 132.60 metres long.

To connect to regional transport, new platforms will be built on both levels.

Building with ongoing transport requires a multitude of building conditions.

Apart from the supervision of the services in the construction contract, the construction supervision services encompass extensive coordination and railway operation services.
