The approx. 30 ha premises of the former Lettow-Vorbeck barracks in Hamburg Jenfeld will be redeveloped. The blueprint plans approx. 770 residential units.

The implementation will take place in three blocks:

1. Block: Construction roads A, N, H

2. Block: Construction roads B, C, E, F, G, I, J, K and L, D, KWS, H

3. Block: The final completion includes the demolition of existing fastenings, lines and systems, as well as the production of new roads. Furthermore, cable laying works and explosive ordnance clearing works will also be carried out.

For the building area Jenfelder Au, reconstruction measures, marking works and signalling technology changes will be necessary, in the connection areas on the existing road network.

The works will take place during ongoing traffic. In doing so, the existing Intersection “Schöneberger Straße” will be reconstructed and expanded. This means that extensive works will be required on existing line routes. Furthermore, existing bus stops will be relocated and rebuilt, and the whole geometry of the intersection will be adjusted.
