DB Energie GmbH

Project volume:
€ 1,200,000

Project description

As a replacement for no longer available office spaces, urgently required new workplaces for the administrative department of DB Energie GmbH were built on the business premises at Lagerstraße in Hamburg.

The two storey new office building is 54 m long, parallel to the neighbouring railway track. On each floor, there are 10 offices with adjoining rooms, with a floor space of around 340 m² per floor. The access areas are allocated on the track side.

As there were only 14 months between the start of planning and completion, the new building was built in modular construction, with a high level of prefabrication in the factory.

To this end, 13 room modules were assembled on the building site, for each floor, which are mounted on strip foundations.

The interior design and installation of the aluminium windows were carried out on site, and the rear-ventilated curtain wall made of aluminium composite boards, which are partially formed from clap boards.
