Project:
New build of workshop Bremen Gröpelingen

The tram stop Bremen Gröpelingen will be rearranged with regards to urban development. This requires a new build of the local workshop for passage maintenance including underfloor wheel lathes and storage sidings.

The old existing building will be completely demolished for this, the stop will be relocated and extended into a complete mobility point.

The reorganisation of the urban area requires a sustainable design of all parts of the building including the necessary soundproofing.

One special feature: Apart from the operational uses, a police station is to be accommodated in the building.

The challenge is the organisation of the various public and private traffic streams including usage separation that is visible from the outside.

Later on the project will be processed using the digital planning method (BIM).
