Project description

The 2-storey open carpark was built as a lengthwise rectangular building structure, parallel to the existing building no. 335 on the area of Fraport AG, plot of Lufthansa Technik AG.

124 parking spaces were built on a floor space of 3,180 m². The rows of parking spaces on the parking floors, organised into 2 wings, were accessible via a 6m wide carriageway. The storey height on the ground floor was 4.6m, and approx. 3m on the 1st parking floor. The upper parking floor on the roof is not roofed over.

The supporting structure was built in steel composite construction. Thereby, the supports were formed from steel, the beams from steel composite and the ceiling panels in steel composite construction.

The carpark conceived as an open garage, is naturally ventilated.

The open façade of the carpark is provided with trellises for greenery.
