Project description

The most significant cost factor for the introduction of a dynamic parking guidance system is the construction and connection of dynamic signposts in the city area.

Market research has now shown possibilities, for how an innovative parking guidance system can be built up, without recourse to the physical actuator technology.

Particular attention was paid to the possibilities for distribution of information, on current car park occupancy, via mobile devices and on dynamic linking with vehicle navigation.

Organisational and operational aspects were discussed, with regards to implementation in the city of Innsbruck.
