Locomotive service point Hafen West - new build of workshop

On the planned premises of the locomotive service centre, in the west port area of the free and Hanseatic city of Hamburg, a workshop has been planned and built for the maintenance and repair of diesel-driven freight locomotives.

Alongside a workshop hall with two work benches, the accompanying warehouse, offices and social areas and a precision workshop will be accommodated in a neighbouring building.

The client rents the building to a third party user. Accordingly, particular attention was paid to the interface between the relevant areas of responsibility.

A compact building was planned, whose outward appearance was clearly structured via durable, smoothly joined materials.
