Bremer Straßenbahn AG, bus department, operates workshops constructed in the 1950s, including in Neustadt.

Bremer Straßenbahn AG is currently planning to acquire 35 electric buses. This requires a realignment of the workshop infrastructure to maintain the vehicles and the setup of loading infrastructure within the bus storage.

In order to utilise the space in optimal fashion, the best possible integration of the realigned depot functions of workshop and storage are to be analysed both functionally and in building terms on the existing site.
