Project description

The lift bridge Kattwyk will be rebuilt in a new location, as a replacement structure of the rail transport.

In the scope of this new build, extensive planning is required on both land sides.

The new planned systems of road and rail transport will be drained in accordance with the valid regulations.

A total of six rain retention basins are planned for the measure, with corresponding separating systems and the integral sewer system.

The system parts were dimensioned for various rain conditions, and all systems were planned with an overflow system for heavy rain conditions planed.

Engineering services

  • Agreement with the association of water boards
  • Planning the total new drainage system incl. consideration of heavy rain and flooding conditions
  • Hydraulic calculation and creation of a water technology solution, in the course of planning stages, from feasibility to execution planning
