Project description

The Cologne/Bonn airport was expanded for the emergence of 17 mil. passengers.

Vössing planned the whole land transport infrastructure for this, for individual road traffic and local public transport.

The access and exit roads were designed on two levels, with a height difference of approx. 10 m.

In addition, the car parks at ground level, the rights of way and the parking facilities for buses and taxis were planned. The connection of the airport to ICE and suburban railway planned at the same time, had to be considered here.
