Plausibility study APM - Automated People Mover

In future, the Audi AG factory will relocate the parking spaces near to the factory, to the periphery of the premises.

To transport the employees to the work place using suitable transport systems, the use of APM systems (Automated People Mover Systems) was investigated.

A requirements specification was compiled for the system manufacturer, on the basis of which various suggestions were compiled.

The systems were evaluated, checked with regards to use, and the plausibility was investigated.

The focus was on possible expansions, to generate additional potential.
