The plant railway of Audi AG in Ingolstadt is linked to Ingolstadt Nord railway station and the shunting yard Ingolstadt on the railway network.

In addition, the freight transport centre is available in a traffic context.

The existing infrastructures in the factory and surrounding area were detected and recorded. 34 loading sites are connected via a total of seven kilometres of track network with 54 points.

The functions of the loading sites were stored. Suggestions were made to optimise and integrate the network, in correlation with the future plant development.
